In the early spring of 2019 spent some days in the presence of Mt Whitney. Down in the desert exploring, hiking and doing photography at different times of the day, I’d feel pulled to gaze back into the Sierras to see how the mountain was looking. As mountains will do, the weather was it’s own and changing by the minute. I have lived amongst ‘fourteeners’ and felt a powerful presence, sometimes almost overbearing. This range gave me a feeling of uplifting awe the days I spent there this winter. I will be pulled back.
