Swirl BW- Death Valley

This was taken on a trip to the Eastern Sierra in 2019 when I took an afternoon drive over to Death Valley to hike out into the dunes. This was originally posted in my journal as a color photo that I took on my 4 x 5 with a pano roll film back on Velvia 50. I recently reprocessed this one to a black and white image which feels so much softer and expressive than the color image.
