Valley Warmth – Eastern Sierra

I had taken an afternoon hike up the closed road to the Whitney Portal and while with a big view of the valley below I spotted a drainage running through to the north of the Alabama Hills that had some beautiful warm textured bushes growing along its banks. I found a road that took me in that direction and found this scene in beautiful light juxtaposed with the cold blue heights of the Sierras.
