We had a persistent monsoon at our home in Southwest Colorado from the end of June through most of the fall. During the fall, the temperatures remained mild except at the highest elevations of the San Juans where there were some early snows. All this was a recipe for deep fall color that lasted into the third week of October. I was able to make four outings with a camera this fall visiting a few familiar locations and exploring some new.
